Love of life and other Stories

Published in 1907, Love of Life and Other Stories is another edition of Jack London’s Klondike anthologies. The main theme is to show the nature of survival and survivability, both physically and psychologically, and how can one survive when death is so close. The story, in principle, is about an unnamed character who becomes separated from his companion and is forced to travel to the Northern wilderness alone, with dwindling supplies, scant available to hunt and hounded by bears and wolves, he nevertheless plods on driven by determination and a vain hope that safety and plentiful food will arrive soon.
