Ali and Nino’s 20-Year Literary Journey 📚✨
What began in 2005 as a small bookstore has now grown into the largest book chain in Azerbaijan. Over the course of 20 years, we have touched the lives of countless readers, sharing in their joy, discoveries, and growth. Let’s take a look back at this journey together:
The First Steps (2005)
Our very first bookstore opened its doors to readers.
That same year, Ali and Nino Publishing House was established, bringing a fresh breath to the Azerbaijani book market.
Also in 2005, Alinino.az, the first online bookstore in the country, was launched.
Innovation and Achievements
2009 – The first book café in Azerbaijan was opened by us. It became a place where book lovers gathered, with conversations blending into the aroma of coffee.
2010–2012 – New stores were opened in Park Bulvar, 28 Mall, and Metropark shopping centers.
2013 – The National Book Award was established for the first time in the country.
Closer to the Reader
2015 – A new store was opened at Koroglu metro station.
2016 – A new branch was launched at Ganjlik Mall.
2021 – Branches were opened at Zəfər Mall and Deniz Mall. At the same time, the first-ever National Book Fair was organized in Azerbaijan.
Social Projects and Expansion
2022 – The social project "Women Entrepreneurs" was successfully launched.
2024 – The largest bookstore in the country was opened for readers at Crescent Mall.
New Horizons
2025 – For the first time in Azerbaijan, four different book clubs will begin operating for children and adults in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English.
