On October 5, 2025, a live meeting and seminar took place at the “Ali and Nino” bookstore in Crescent Mall with Lithuanian writer Evelina Daciute and illustrator Ausra Kiudulaite. The main focus of the event was their internationally acclaimed children’s book Happiness is a Fox (Laime yra lapė) and the creative process behind its making.
During the event, the authors shared how the idea for the book was born, the specifics of writing for children, and their thoughts on the current state of Lithuanian children’s literature. The seminar featured engaging discussions that were especially valuable for teachers, children’s literature specialists, parents, and aspiring young writers. The guests also answered numerous questions from attendees, revealing insights into their creative process and the key elements of their international success.
The event was held in a warm, interactive atmosphere and turned into an inspiring literary experience for all participants. At the end of the meeting, readers received signed copies of the book from the authors.
