Following "Mani" with the little ones: money alphabet discussion at "Ali and Nino"

On August 24, the next session of the “Əli və Nino” Children’s Book Club at the Crescent Mall branch offered young readers a memorable experience filled with both educational and entertaining moments. This time, the discussion focused on the popular book by German author Bodo Schäfer, “Mani the Dog – The ABCs of Money for Children.”

Parents also joined the event alongside their children, engaging in discussions about the importance of teaching financial literacy from an early age. Enriched with interactive Q&A sessions, games, and lively discussions, the event allowed children not only to share what they had learned from the book but also to gain new insights into the value of money, saving, and responsible spending.

Through the story of the little dog Mani, the book explains the concept of money in a simple and understandable way for children. Adapted into our language by translator Aygül Hacıyeva, this work has become an important resource that makes learning about finance enjoyable for young readers.

With sessions like this, the “Əli və Nino” Children’s Book Club aims to develop children’s reading habits while enriching them with essential life skills. To participate in upcoming sessions, parents can simply register their children for this valuable initiative.
