This September, Ali and Nino's Crescent Mall branch will host a series of book club meetings featuring exciting selections for readers of all ages. Four different sessions, four different books, and plenty of engaging discussions await!
📚 On September 28, join us for a full day of literary conversations — from children to adults, there's something for everyone.
🕦 11:30 AM – Children's Book Club:
We’ll begin the day with the Children’s Book Club, where we’ll dive into Momo by German author Michael Ende. This magical and heartfelt novel beautifully explores the true value of time and life through a story that resonates with both young readers and their parents.
🕐 1:00 PM – “Ali and Nino” Book Club (English-language session):
English-speaking readers will explore Pinball by renowned Japanese author Haruki Murakami. One of his early works, this novel introduces readers to the surreal and introspective world that defines Murakami’s signature style.
🕝 2:30 PM – “Əli və Nino” Kitab Klubu (Azerbaijani-language session):
Our Azerbaijani session will feature The Sorrows of Young Werther by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe — a masterpiece of German literature and a pillar of the Romantic era. This novel explores the emotional depths of love, loss, and human sensitivity.
🕓 4:00 PM – Russian-language Book Club:
Russian-speaking participants will discuss The Secret History by Donna Tartt, a gripping psychological thriller filled with mystery, intellectual intrigue, and moral complexity.
