Ali and Nino Bookstore has prepared a rich lineup of book club meetings for May, each offering a unique literary choice. These events, tailored for all age groups and interests, aim to bring literature lovers together and promote reading habits.
📚 May 10, 3:00 PM – BookClub (in Azerbaijani)
The first meeting of the month will feature Harper Lee’s novel Go Set a Watchman, considered a sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird. The book transports readers to American society in the 1950s.
📚 May 11, 11:00 AM – Children’s Book Club
Supported by the British Embassy, this session will introduce young readers to Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice. Presented in a simplified and colorful format, it promises to be both educational and fun.
📚 May 11, 3:00 PM – Ali and Nino Book Club (in English)
On May 11, English-speaking readers will discuss Donna Tartt’s cult novel The Secret History. With its psychological depth and gripping plot, the book will spark engaging intellectual conversations.
📚 May 25, 1:00 PM – Ali and Nino Book Club (in Russian)
On May 25, Russian-speaking readers will gather to discuss Natsume Sōseki’s novel I Am a Cat (Ваш покорный слуга кот).
